How To Plan for
The Trip Of A Lifetime!

Perhaps you are wondering what kind of a trip this could be?
Have you ever stopped to think what is going to happen to you when you die?
Where will you reside forever? Where do you think you will go? Have you
wondered?
Will your fate be a life of joy in heaven with God, His Son and the host of
heaven?
Could it be that your soul will suffer eternal separation from God in the
place of torment?
 
The time to start planning is NOW! Tomorrow may be too late! (Jas. 4:13-15)
 
 It could be that you are a member of some religious group already.  If so,
you are probably aware of who Jesus Christ is, and you may have a basic
understanding of the Bible. At least you believe it to be God’s inspired
word.  What I want you to consider is how to become a member of Christ’s
church, a citizen of His kingdom.  One  may “join” a denomination and not
have become a member of Christ’s blood bought body. The Bible says... “There
is One body, One Spirit,...One hope, One Lord, One faith, One baptism, One
God...”(Ephesians 4:4-6).  Every plant not planted by the heavenly Father is
destined to be “rooted up” come judgment day (Matt. 15:13; Psa. 127:1).
Christ is coming again to receive His virgin bride to Himself and then to
deliver her to the Father (Eph. 5:22-27; 1 Cor. 15:23-24).
 
Christ’s church costs His blood and was planned from eternity (Eph. 3:8-11;
5:25; Acts 20:28). When saved (born again) one is delivered into it (Jno.
3:5; Col. 1:13-14).  One then takes the family name, Christian (Acts 11:26;
26:28; 1 Pet. 4:16).
 
Six (6) steps following Christ’s worldwide commission places on in this
relationship, His church.
 
1).  Hear the Word–John 6:44-45; Romans 10:17; Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19.
2).  Believe the Word–John 8:21-24; Romans 5:1; Hebrews 11:6; Acts 16:30-32.
3).  Repent of Sin and error–Luke 13:3; Acts 17:30-31; 2 Peter 3:9.
4).  Confess Jesus–Matthew 10:32-33; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 8:37; Matthew
16:18.
5).  Be Immersed into Christ and into His body–Acts 2:22-38,40-41,47; Eph.
2:13-16; Romans  6:3-6; Galatians 3:26-29; 1 Corinthians 12:12; Colossians
1:13-13; 1Peter 3:20-21; Acts 22:16.
6).  Be faithful–Revelation 2:10; Hebrews 3:6-14; Colossians 1:23b; Matthew
25:1-46.
