[Biblemat] Global Warming, My Understanding

Dear list members,
 
    The following is how I answered a person who asked about "Global Warming
" What is your understanding of this matter.
 
Dear _________,
 
    God, not man will eventually destroy the world as we know it  (2 Peter
3:9-18; Genesis 8:18-22; 2 Thessalonians 4:13-19; Matthew 25:31-46; Jude
14-15).  While we should be careful not to pollute our envirenment as best
we can, still puny man has little to do with effecting so called, "Global
Warming."   Even reputable scientist (many of them) at least reject the Al
Gore theories that are being pushed on the public.   Cattle passing gas do
more to harm the envirenment than all the exhaust emmissions combined "they"
say.  So, do what you can to clean up the globe and leave the rest to God
Almighty. Christ "upholds all things by the word of His power" (See Hebrews
1:1-3; Colossians 1:16). So, Christ is in control of the world I feel good
about that!
