"The Sleep Of A Laboring Man Is Sweet!"

Adam and Eve were to "dress and keep the garden"
Honest laboring has always been God’s requirement
It is only in the purely secular pursuits of this life
That men are allowed to go into full retirement!
Paul wrote:"Let him who stole steal no longer, 
But rather let him labor, working with his hands
... That he may have to give him who has need." 
And: "He who will not work, neither let him eat."
In spiritual matters our Lord set the perfect example
"I must work the works of Him who sent Me 
While it is day; The night is coming when no one can work."
Surely this declaration means none of us should shirk!
"The fields are white unto harvest" said the Lord
Then He lamented "but the laborers are few"
"There is room in the kingdom of Christ my brother
There is plenty of work that each of us should do!"
(Gen. 2:15; Eccl. 5:12; Eph. 4:28; 2 Thess. 3:10;
Jno. 9:4; Jno. 4:35; 2 Tim. 4:1-8).
