"There Is One..."

The religion of Christ is unique
It is truly the only one of its kind
When Scripture says there is one
That should settle it in our mind!
There is "one body" says Scripture
That "one body" is called the church
There is "one hope" of our calling
That is heaven when leaving this earth!
There is only "one Lord" Jesus Christ,
"One faith" and "one baptism" as well
We must accept the authority of Jesus
Or our souls will then languish in Hell!
There is "one God" and Father of all
He originated His wonderful plan
He revealed these truths by the Spirit
His Son Jesus executed it for man.
Men must enter into the "one body"
To have the "one hope"we petition
By believing the "one faith" revealed
Obeying the "one baptism" for remission.
(Eph. 1:22-23; Eph 2:13-16; Eph. 3:1-6;
Eph. 4:1-6; Eph. 5:22-33; Acts 2:22-38;
40-41, 47; 2 Thess. 1:6-10; 1 Thess. 4:13-18).
