THIS IS REALLY SCARY!
“Cast into the lake of fire” – [Rev 19:20; Rev 20:10-15]
Garreth L. Clair
Today, many people are scared of many different things that are present in
life. Many people are afraid of wild animals, many are afraid of darkness,
many are afraid of the unknown, many are afraid of the possibility of nuclear
war, many are afraid of home invasions, many are afraid of criminals, many are
afraid of the night, and many more are afraid of other things.
Being afraid is not necessarily a bad thing; most of us need to be afraid of
things that can harm us either physically or otherwise. Yet there are many
people today who live as though they are afraid of everything except the most
frightening possibility known to mankind.
Yes, I am referring to thee time of the end, when all things that exist will
be dissolved by fervent heat and all the works of man will be destroyed as
though they never existed. I am referring to those, end of the world events
that are described by God in His Book the Bible. Please note the following
predictions that God gives us about the end time events;
Examine this reading from the Written Word of God [i.e. the Bible]:
2 Peter 3:10-14,
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in the which the heavens
shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with
fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of
persons ought ye to be in (all) holy living and godliness,
12 looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, by
reason of which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements
shall melt with fervent heat?
13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth,
wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for these things, give diligence
that ye may be found in peace, without spot and blameless in his sight.” ASV
CONSIDER THIS:
Dear reader do not be led away from the truth, indeed, there is coming
someday a great day for the righteous and a day of horror for the wicked. Do make
things right with God and man so that you will be happy to see that great day
come.
Luke 6:39, “And he spake also a parable unto them, Can the blind guide the
blind? shall they not both fall into a pit?” ASV --- _glclair at ao..com_
