I Am Not Ashamed

I am not ashamed of Jesus Christ
For He is the divine Son of God
I am not ashamed of His gospel
Telling of the shedding of His blood!
I am not ashamed of the "New Law"
It is how God speaks to man today
Which is why I honor its contents
For it is the "new and living way!"
I am not ashamed of the Lord’s church
The one purchased by Christ’s own blood
For this church is made up of the saved
Those who are preparing for heaven above!
I am not ashamed of the Biblical morals
Though revealed many centuries ago
They guide one in the best possible way
To live life in this sinful world below!
I am not ashamed of the plan for salvation
One must hear believe, repent and be baptized 
"For the remission of one’s past or alien sins"
Which is the main reason for which Jesus died!
