What About Lukewarmness?

Lukewarmness is a soul damning trait
It is an attitude despised by the Lord
It is just the opposite of being "on fire"
When one doesn’t take seriously God’s word!
It’s that "ho-hum" attitude of a man’s heart
A "take it or leave it" kind of a response
It’s the lack of zeal and enthusiasm desired
For one to be the disciple Jesus wants!
He wants us to "take a stand" for Him
To be committed to doing His desires
He wants us to be either "cold or hot"
Being "lukewarm" kindles hell’s fires!
If "lukewarm neither cold nor hot"
I will vomit you out of my mouth"
Are the very words of Jesus Christ
And Jesus is the churches spouse!
It is "either fish or cut bait" with Jesus
Complacency He just will pay no respect
It is "all or nothing at all" with Him
So "of faith do not make shipwreck!"

Acts 17:11; 1 Thess 5:21; 1 Jno. 4:1;
