SPEAKING FOR GOD

Freedom of speech and liberalities of speech can sometimes conflict one
another. For instance, consider the apostle Paul. Jesus taught Him directly:
"But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is
not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it,
but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." (Gal 1:11-12) God choose Paul for a
vessel unto Himself as His minister or speaker (Rom 8:16)

Paul writing to the Roman Christians informed them he had fully preached the
gospel of Christ. He also said "For I will not dare to speak of any of those
things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient,
by word and deed," (Rom 15:18). Take careful notice of what Paul has said.
If God didn't reveal it, Paul didn't speak it!

The apostle Peter, recognizing the eternal importance of our "religious"
speech, warns us "If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God." (1
Pet 4:11a) God entrust His words to mankind thus seeking faithful followers.
The same applied to the Old Testament Jews when God entrusted His oracles to
them, (Rom 3:1-2)

God provides the restraints and/or liberties for speaking His word! As the
apostle Paul, man must choose not to exceed either one in his freedom of
speech!
