[Biblemat] OPERATION SCHEDULED, PLEASE PRAY FOR JUDY MCPHERSON

Dear brethren 
 
I appeal the righteous to pray for my wonderful mother. Mom has been by the
side of her gospel preaching husband, Peter McPherson, for over 40 years.
This had been through many good times and also difficult times, in season
and out of season, mother has faithfully and loyally been dad's companion.
She is well know for her cooking and wonderful hospitality. No one can cook
better than Judy McPherson (many brethren and "strangers" will testify to
this). 
 
At the present Mother is in dire straights. She has uterine cancer and must
have a full hysterectomy. Unfortunately, she has health complication which
make the operation very risky and quite serious (high blood pressure,
overweight, blood clots which may quickly develop). She needs our prayers.

We have finally gotten a date for Judy's full hysterectomy surgery due to
uterian cancer detected a year ago - it is scheduled for the 29th of this
month (Oct). She is to be admitted into the hospital at Kingston on the 23rd
(6 days before her scheduled operation; with hospital costs as they are that
does not happen in Ontario unless there are rather serious concerns). It
appears, because of the complications that Judy has already experienced and
other health situations, that they are going to run a battery of tests and
have all things prepared well. Two top notch surgeons are to perform the
operation together. The risks, in her case are higher, especially in regard
to blood clotting. We are both so very grateful to you for your interests
and for your prayers. Judy says that she is "ready" if the operation does
not go well for her (and I know she is) but of course at the same time she
is having some fears.
