I Haven’t The Time To Study The Bible

But I can find time to read the daily paper
From cover to cover not one thing is missed
I must see what’s happening around the world
By not keeping informed I would be remiss!
I never miss a sporting event locally
Soccer, basketball and football too
I’m there in person to encourage my team
Without my support what would they do?
I find the time to watch "Law & Order"
I try to figure who did what to whom
Life without some of these diversions
Would be a life of gloom and doom!
But I can’t find time to study the Bible
That leads from the cradle to the grave?
I will be judged from what it teaches
So I had better try and find time today!
Time is not the problem it’s how I use each day
I will find the time to do what really interest me
You’ve heard "where there’s a will there’s a way"
There’s time to study the Bible if interested I’d say!
