Don Martin with an answer just sent out to a respondent:
Due to the present size of www.bibletruths.net and www.biblequestions.org
, we have had to publish both sites to another host. The new host provides
a total of about twenty gigabits storage space. In the case of Bible
Truths, I elected for premium storage and also have a larger broad band.
The increased broad band size enables more people to simultaneously down
load material. I have hundreds of PowerPoint sermons and building and these
can become voluminous. The ten men that we oversee in our Bible questions
work continue to do an outstanding job in providing answers. Both the
Online Greek Course and the Online Bible Study Course in Bible Truths
continue to phenomenally produce.
The below question/answer is number 1, 250 since we began our tenth year on
July 17 of this summer. As always, our goal is to provide a succinct book,
chapter, and verse answer and then attempt to expose the respondent to the
vast material and study opportunities in Bible Truths. To date, we have
processed, answered, and did any needed follow up work on over 31, 000
questions.
Hello Marie,
Thank you so much for your question and for making use of Bible Questions.
Please do so again. http://www.biblequestions.org Please check out Bible
Truths http://www.bibletruths.net Go to the archives section of these sites
for material and also go to the archives search page and type in any subject
or word you wish to explore. New material is constantly being added to both
sites. Any help you can give us in telling others of these sites will be
greatly appreciated.
If you are interested in really learning more about the Bible, there is an
online Bible study course located in Bible Truths. While on the home page,
scroll down and enter. While on the Map Site Page, click on "Online Bible
Study Course" in the table. Click on http://www.bibletruths.net to go

You asked:
Why did Moses not get to go into the promise land?
Reply:
Moses was not allowed entrance into the Promised Land (Deut. 34: 4). The
reason for Moses not being allowed was because, "...ye trespassed against me
among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh..." (Deut. 32:
51). The circumstances to which reference is made are observed in Numbers
20: 7-13. One that occasion, God told Moses to, "...speak ye unto the
rock..." (vs. 8). Once before when water was needed, Moses was instructed
to take his rod and "smite the rock" (Ex. 17: 5-7). Moses did exactly as
God told him and water resulted (Ibid.). However, on this subsequent
occasion, Moses acted rebelliously and instead of "speaking" to the rock, as
he is now told to do, Moses "smote the rock" (Num. 20: 7f.). Moses revealed
a defiant attitude in the language he employed in this case (Num. 20: 10,
11). Moses is a good example of how we must obey God and not do what
appeals to us. You are encouraged to read, "Authority" located in
www.bibletruths.net When on the home page, click on the "Authority" button
at the top of page. Here is an excerpt from the article:
"...Authority is absolutely necessary. As we have seen, without
recognizing Jesus' authority and his means of expressing his authority (his
teaching, New Testament), we cannot be united and please God. Beloved, the
scriptures are replete with one emphatic warning after another regarding the
seriousness of being without authority. Jesus will tell religious people in
the Day of Judgment to "depart from me, ye that work iniquity" (Matt. 7:
23). The Greek word translated iniquity means lawlessness (anomia, a,
negative, nomos, law). To be without law is to be without authority. These
people will be told to depart, notwithstanding their "many wonderful works"
(vs. 22, see also Gal. 1: 6-9 and Rev. 22: 18, 19)....."
Thanks again for your good question and for your interest in spiritual
matters. I recommend that you print out this email for future reference (web
addresses, etc.). You may print out any material you desire in both Bible
Questions and Bible Truths (see the copyright provision at the bottom of the
home page in Bible Truths).
Cordially,
Don Martin
