Adam Clarke quotes John Wesley (as well as expressing his own
objections) in his comments on Amos 6 verse 5 which you can find here:

John Calvin's Objections are able to be found in his comments on Psalm 33:2:

Quite frankly, some of the quotes that are passed around by brethren I
have yet to see citations for. Brethren should be more cautious than
they are about citing things for which they have not yet first found a
citation.

McClintock and Strong claimed that Luther called the instrument the
"ensign of Baal," but they give no citation. You can see their claim at:
http://books.google.com/books?dq=%22Cyclopaedia+of+Biblical,+Theological+and+Ecclesiastical+Literature%22&jtp=762&id=1uVOrP2tgG0C&output=html

Its in the first column, near the bottom of the page. The paragraph
begins with the numeral 3.
