Rejecting The Word of God

Rejecting God’s word is indeed fatal to one’s soul
God’s word brings spiritual life, so it must be told
Not only be told but also to be believed and obeyed
If one is to have eternal life, if one is to be saved!
Do you "hunger and thirst for righteousness?"
For the truth of the Christ do you daily crave?
For it covers life, from the cradle to the grave!
Early let us seek truth and with truth let’s stay!
Only the truth of Jesus frees one from sin and error
Continuing in the word of Christ must be our endeavor
If we "walk in the light we have fellowship together"
Jesus’ blood then cleanses us, now isn’t this quite clever?
It’s not by good that I have done by my own human merit
It’s through faith in Christ’s blood eternal life I’ll inherit
"He who believes and is baptized will be saved" He stated
I was baptized "for remission of sins" and so I am elated!
I now wear a "new name" "Christian" is how it is stated
I am now a member of Christ’s ONE blood bought church
The one that’s so often belittled and by men often berated
But I was "added" to it by the Lord ,this can’t be overstated!

Hebrews 5:8-9; James 1:18-25; James 2:14-26; Revelation 22:14).
