[Biblemat] Poem, Would You Be Free

 Following is a poem composed this morning. It hasn't been proof read by my
proof-reader as yet so check it for typos and other mistakes. Ken
 
Would You Be Free?

Ah yes, "Free-dom" what a beautiful ring!
"Freedom" conjures up thoughts of many things..
But the "freedom" with which I’m so enthralled;
Is "freedom" from the bondage of sin above all!
Jesus said many things all are important to me;
"If the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed."
Free from the guilt of all our past transgressions;
Free so our soul can take its flight into heaven!
Physical freedom is a wonderful thing too;
It allows us to do the things we wish to do;
It allows us to worship God as He wants us to;
To follow Jesus Christ who was always true.
"Would you be free" is the title given above;
If so you must accept the gift of God’s love;
Who gave His only begotten Son who died;
The Son who for YOU and ME was crucified.
Who then was buried in a borrowed tomb;
But was delivered, as a child from the womb;
The third day He was found very much alive;
Making freedom from sin possible to realize!
If we believe, repent, and confess Jesus’ name;
If we’ll be immersed in water to be "born again;"
We can know this great freedom that is our theme;
You’ll be added to His church, the winning team!
