Just Tell Me What to Do
by Josh Lankford

Different time periods offer different blessings and difficulties. I have
often wondered what it was like to live in an age when God spoke directly to
men. To be honest, I have often wished for such a thing myself. Though a
decent Bible reader for several years now, I have faced a number of
decisions where I was clueless. Perhaps you too have felt like screaming out
to God, "Just tell me what to do!" Although we are a do-it-yourself,
rebellious type of generation, I sometimes like being told what to do - no
questions, just do it. Are we the unlucky ones who are "abandoned" by God in
our "the word is complete" day and age? (read more at renewedinspirit.org!)

Quotable Quotes From the Bible (Part 1)
by David Flatt

On a Wednesday night some time ago, a brother offered the invitation. He

Kennedy saying, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can
do for your country." (read more at renewedinspirit.org!)

worked wonders for those who espouse premillennialism with the Left Behind
series written by LaHaye and Jenkins. The premillennialists have certainly
seemed to gain a major victory with those books over the past few years, and
even though they loosely claim to be fiction, not a few have followed after
the premillennial view on account of the influence of these books. Even
those who are not convinced are asking many questions because of the
contents of these books, and often these people receive entirely
unsatisfactory answers and therefore buy in to the premillennial view of
Revelation and other texts. (read more at renewedinspirit.org!)

Is Christian Just a Name?
by Heath Robertson

There is something very special about being a Christian. Even the seemingly
smaller benefits are a great blessing; how great is it to carry the name of
our Lord, Jesus Christ! Strong's Greek dictionary defines Christians as,
"those who follow the teachings and example of Christ". So, to be called a
Christian, we can understand that there are some things that we must do.
