"Pay Day Some Day"

One day all accounts will be settled;
Just what kind of a stewards are we?
How have we used the many resources;
Christ Jesus put on loan to you and me?
 
As stewards of time, money, and ability;
For which we must give account one day;
When called on to answer for their use;
Just what will you and I have to say?
 
"To whom much is given, of him much is required;"
So spoke Jesus and that fact hasn’t been retired!
Then we must use our time, money and ability;
In serving Jesus serving others is required!
 
"For I was hungry and you gave Me food;
I was thirsty and you gave Me drink;
I was a stranger and you took Me in;"
So what are others and Jesus to think?
 
"I was naked and you clothed Me;
I was sick and you visited Me";
When you did it for others said Jesus;
You were doing it to Me don’t you see?
( Matthew 25:1-46; James 2:14-26;
1 John 3:17).
