I wanted to write and wish all subscribers a happy New Year. Also
wanted to remind you of the rules of Bible Matters mainly that there
be no discussions conducted on Bible Matters that is saved for Bible
Matters Forum. Bible Matters Forum has been slow to take off. On the
forum you can post and discuss whatever you wish. There is a section
to discuss and post issues related to MDR, Neo-Institutionalism; some
refer to this as Collectivities, Sermon ideas. With that said Bible
Matters is strictly for posting of sermons, articles and Bible Class
materials. Beyond that the rest needs to go to the forum. In my
opinion what makes the forum idea for discussion is the fact that if
you don't want to take part in the discussion you are not forced to
have the discussion to come into your input box. I have had complaints
from some when a discussion sneaks through of getting messages they
don't want but feel have to receive to have the other benefits of
Bible Matters. I in no way want to stifle the discussion of truth thus
the reason for Bible Matters Forum. I will make a New Years Resolution
to watch that closer in 2008 and insure discussion of issues are
encouraged to go to the forum. Always looking for you input and ideas
along these lines. People have wanted discussion on Bible Matters and
even debates but due to storage limitations for archives we have tried
to limit that.

Happy New Year all!
