If Christ Gave You Three Wishes

If Christ gave you three wishes
I just wonder what they’d be?
Would you be thinking worldly?
Or would you think spiritually?
Would you wish your soul’s salvation
To be secured without anything to fear?
Or would you think of the here and now
And all the fame and wealth hold dear?
Would your wishes be for self alone?
Would you wish for those in need?
Would you wish for salvation for others
Who are bound by those human creeds?
Would you wish for peace on earth?
Would you ask for a brand new car?
Would you wish for cures for diseases?
Just what things would you wish for?
Would you wish for religious unity?
And for all men to come to Christ?
Would you wish that all mankind
Would see the need to be born twice?
Now only THREE wishes will be granted
So please think long and hard with me
We need peace with God peace in our homes
And we need peace throughout all eternity!
