and done any needed follow up work on 3, 700 questions. We notice

You asked:

Hello Mr. Don Martin. I was looking at the news and there it was
happening again! College student killing other students and a teacher. I'll
be short with my question. I am not a wizard or a genius, but I believe
that what is happening with the nations and the security for safety is a
world turning event for tighter security and not to exclude Identity for a
safer world. I like to know do you think that this is the tip of the iceberg
for setting up for the Antichrist mark? Where every person would be
required to take or be beheaded?

Reply:

The recent events regarding the latest school shootings are, indeed, tragic.
However, we must be careful not to press the scriptures to fit what we
perceive as a prophetic application.

Let us first look at some facts about the antichrist. The word "antichrist"
is only found in four Bible passages. The word "antichrist" is not found
even once in the book of Revelation. All were penned by Apostle John.
All passages are within the books of First John and Second John. (1 John
2: 18-19, 1 John 2: 22-23, 1 John 4: 2-3, 2 John 1: 7.) The Greek word
from which our English word "antichrist" is translated is very easy to
understand. It is a simple compound word and means "anti" plus "Christ,"
hence, "antichrist". "Anti-Christ" is anyone who opposes Christ.

When we look at the scriptures we see that "even now many antichrists
have arisen" (1 John 2: 18).

Who is the antichrist?

1. The one who denies that Jesus is the Christ (1 John 2: 22).
2. Whoever denies the Son (1 John 2: 22).
3. Whoever will not confess the son (1 John 2: 23).
4. The liar (1 John 2: 22).
5. Every spirit that does not confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the
flesh (1 John 4: 2).
6. Every spirit that does not confess Jesus (1 John 4: 3).
7. Those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh (2
John 1: 7).

The false doctrine that Christ, at his coming, will destroy the anti-Christ
and all his forces in the battle of Armageddon is associated with the
doctrine of Premillennialism. Be sure to go to the Bible Truths web site and
read the excellent article titled "The Truth about Premillennialism". Simply
click on http://www.bibletruths.net enter through the door to the site map
then in the table click on "Archives and Index" and then the letter "P" and
the article mentioned.

Thanks again for your good question and for your interest in spiritual
matters. I recommend that you print out this email for future reference
(web addresses, etc.). You may print out any material you desire in both
Bible Questions and Bible Truths (see the copyright provision at the
bottom of the home page in Bible Truths).

Cordially,
Don Martin
